These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Savvient website at savvient.info and your enrollment in any Savvient financial education program. By using this website or enrolling in a program, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Definitions
- "Savvient", "we", "us", "our" — Savvient, a financial education provider registered in Malaysia, operating from 56 Jalan Merdeka, 83000 Batu Pahat, Johor.
- "User", "you" — any individual who visits this website or contacts Savvient.
- "Participant" — any individual who enrolls in and attends a Savvient program.
- "Program" — any structured educational course offered by Savvient, including Program 01, Program 02, and Program 03 as described on this website.
- "Services" — the educational programs, website, and related communications provided by Savvient.
- "Agreement" — these Terms and Conditions as accepted by you.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing this website or enrolling in a Savvient program, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into this Agreement. If you are accessing the website on behalf of a company or organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to bind that entity.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use this website or enrol in any Savvient program.
3. Description of Services
Savvient provides financial education programs covering topics including interest rates and compounding, real estate financial literacy, and digital finance and fintech navigation. These programs are educational in nature and are conducted in Batu Pahat, Johor, with supplementary digital components where specified.
Savvient does not provide financial advice, investment recommendations, or any service regulated under the Capital Markets and Services Act 2007 or any other Malaysian financial services legislation. Nothing delivered in any Savvient program constitutes financial advice, and participants should not treat it as such.
4. Enrollment and Registration
To enrol in a program, participants must submit an enquiry, receive confirmation of availability, and complete payment. Enrollment is confirmed only upon receipt of full payment and written confirmation from Savvient. Places are limited and are allocated on a first-paid basis.
You are responsible for providing accurate information during enrollment. Savvient reserves the right to decline enrollment at its discretion.
5. Fees and Payment
Program fees are as stated on the Savvient website at the time of enrollment:
- Program 01 — Understanding Interest Rates & Compounding: RM 1,200
- Program 02 — Real Estate Financial Literacy: RM 3,600
- Program 03 — Digital Finance & Fintech Navigation: RM 2,400
All fees are in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and are inclusive of applicable taxes where required. Payment is accepted by bank transfer and selected e-wallet methods as communicated at time of enrollment. Full payment is required prior to the commencement of the program.
6. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Cancellations made more than 14 calendar days before the program commencement date are entitled to a full refund less an administrative fee of RM 150.
Cancellations made between 7 and 14 calendar days before commencement are entitled to a 50% refund of the program fee.
Cancellations made fewer than 7 calendar days before commencement, or no-shows, are not entitled to a refund. However, Savvient may, at its discretion, offer transfer to a future intake of the same program.
If Savvient cancels or postpones a program for any reason, enrolled participants will receive a full refund or an option to transfer to the next available intake.
7. Participant Responsibilities
- Attending sessions punctually and engaging constructively with program content
- Treating facilitators and fellow participants with respect
- Not recording, reproducing, or distributing program materials without written permission from Savvient
- Not using program materials for commercial purposes
- Providing accurate information during enrollment and follow-up communications
Savvient reserves the right to remove a participant from a program if their conduct is disruptive, abusive, or in breach of these Terms. In such cases, no refund will be issued.
8. Intellectual Property
All program materials, worksheets, calculation templates, session content, and website content are the intellectual property of Savvient. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use materials provided during a program for your personal educational purposes only.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, publish, or sell any Savvient materials without prior written consent.
9. Disclaimers
Savvient's programs are provided for educational purposes only. They do not constitute financial advice, investment advice, legal advice, or any other form of professional regulated advice.
Savvient makes no representation that the outcomes described by past participants will be replicated. Individual results from applying financial literacy knowledge will vary based on personal circumstances.
While we take care to ensure program content is current and accurate at time of delivery, Savvient does not warrant that all information will remain current after the program date. Financial regulations, products, and platforms change. Participants are responsible for verifying current conditions before making any financial decision.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Malaysian law, Savvient's total liability to you in connection with any program or use of this website shall not exceed the program fee paid by you.
Savvient shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or special losses arising from your use of program content or decisions made on the basis of program materials, including but not limited to financial losses resulting from personal financial decisions.
11. Privacy
Your use of this website and enrollment in programs is subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using this website or enrolling in a program, you consent to the processing of your personal data as described in the Privacy Policy.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
We encourage participants to contact us directly in the first instance to resolve any concerns informally before pursuing formal dispute resolution.
13. Changes to These Terms
Savvient reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the website or enrollment in programs after any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
